Philip WOKORACH

Playing Career

Philip WOKORACH is an international Ugandan rugby player born on 31/12/1993.
"Ojus/ Wokos" as he is popularly known in his home country weighs 96 kg and is 1.93m tall.

He currently plays at French club "ASBC Bédarrides XV" under Coach Arnauld Vercruyse as a utility back.
An inspirational figure to youth in his home country, he runs a charity foundation called the PW15 foundation which aims to help disadvantaged children through sports as a tool for development specifically rugby.

His ambition has always been to play top tier profesional rugby and being remembered as one of the best rugby players of all time from Uganda is his ultimate dream.

Clubs he has played for;

He grew up in a sporting neighbourhood called Naguru(Uganda) playing cricket, football, hockey and boxing in his childhood before settling for tag rugby at Kyadondo Rugby Club."

Hero: "My idol is Israel Falou (Australia). I just love the way he plays." However his biggest influence has been his mother who has always been there for him, a fact he is proud of.

Sporting relatives: His father, Serafino Jalobo WOKORACH, represented Uganda in football.
His younger brother, Thomas GWOKTO, plays rugby in Uganda for Heathens Rfc and his youngest sister played basketball fo the UCU Canons a Uganda basketball side.
